The Open Streets Project is launching a fund raising campaign to bring back Bike Miami Days to Downtown, Miami this October. Once more we are coming together to help the the City of Miami host this one-of-a-kind event where the streets will be temporarily closed to vehicles. Pedestrians, runners, cyclists and others will be able to reclaim the city streets for their enjoyment. Everyone will be able to play, exercise and explore the city in a new and refreshing way!
Bike Miami Days, also known as an open streets event, is not only meant for recreation. These type of events promote alternative modes of transportation, active lifestyles and community integration. All of which are characteristics of a sustainable community.
